Limited Edition Details

Welcome to ENVE Limited Edition. ENVE exists at the intersection of artistry and performance, fashion and function – bespoke wheels, built by hand for the most discerning cyclists in the world. Each month ENVE will release exclusive wheelsets that will showcase our partner teams, athletes, artists, designers, charities, and custom frame builders.

This month’s featured wheelset is the 29” M60 HV. Our most versatile mountain wheels designed for those who want to ride, train, and race on the same wheelset. We partnered with Santa Cruz to create the ultimate wheelset for their successful Hightower.

What Santa Cruz says about the bike:

“If straight line speed, rallying through rock gardens and sprinting out of turns is your bag, then 29” wheels are the big ticket. Upgrade to carbon rims and you have a precision instrument on your hands.”

Manufactured in the USA, the M60 HV features designs such as a hookless bead, molded spoke holes, and fully uni-directional carbon fiber. That allow us to build a wheelset that helps you earn your turns by crushing the steepest, longest climbs with the confidence to rally raucous descents.

These extremely limited edition wheelsets are first come, first serve and once they are gone, ENVE will not be producing any more. If you are interested in owning this exclusive wheelset, add it to your cart. If you miss out, stay tuned for September’s limited edition wheelset.

What’s Included:

-ENVE M60 HV 29” Wheelset with Limited Edition “California Dreamin’” decals built on Orange 6-bolt Boost Chris King Ceramic hubs with Shimano freehub

WHAT IS IT?

The most versatile carbon fiber mountain bike wheelset in the M Series. Limited edition “California Dreamin’” decals make this wheelset perfect for the Hightower owner.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Santa Cruz Hightower owners who want a one wheelset quiver for their do it all bike.

WHY DID WE MAKE IT?

If you are like us, we love to ride mountain bikes, and occasionally we race them. The M60 HV is optimized for long rides into the backcountry that feature big climbs and rowdy descents, yet light enough for the occasional race day. Perfectly suited for the Hightower with matching decals to boot.

The ENVE M60 Forty and M60 Forty HV uni-directional carbon fiber mountain bike wheels pay tribute to the sport of mountain biking by honoring the aspects of human powered climbs and the most technically challenging downhills alike. In order to make a carbon fiber mountain bike rim defined by it’s versatility it is necessary to make it light, strong, stiff, and durable. The ENVE M60 Forty features ENVE’s patented molded in spoke hole technology that allows for increased strength to weight performance. By not drilling the spoke holes, the fiber remains intact resulting in a stronger more efficient structure. While some riders will view the M60 as the ultimate trail and light duty enduro wheelset, others will acknowledge its light weight and use it for everyday XC riding and racing. As the most versatile wheelset in the M Series line of wheels the M60 is intended for use with full suspension mountain bikes in the 4-6″ (110-150mm) travel range. Two rim widths exist to accomodate those wishing to run standard and high volume tires. The M60 is optimized for tires between 2.1-2.25″ while the M60 HV is designed for tires between 2.3 and 2.4″ wide. Additionally, the M60 features hookless bead tubeless technology that produces a stronger tubeless seal and virtually eliminates any unpredictable losses of air as the result of hard impacts and cornering. Durability is a major factor in achieving downhill confidence and performance and the M60 delivers high levels of downhill performance through an optimized rim geometry that helps dampen and absorb impacts while still maintaining a high level of lateral and torsional stiffness to ensure straight and true tracking over the roughest terrain. The ENVE M60 Forty is proudly made in the USA.
