WHAT IS IT?

The most versatile carbon fiber mountain bike wheelset in the M Series M60 HV.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Mountain bikers who love to ride, race, and want a one wheelset quiver.

WHY DID WE MAKE IT?

If you are like us, we love to ride mountain bikes, and occasionally we race them. The M60 HV is optimized for long rides into the backcountry that feature big climbs and rowdy descents, yet also light enough for the occasional race day.

People Are Saying…

Naysayers will say they’re not worth the stratospheric price. I say those people have simply never ridden these wheels.

Nothing says "my other bike is a Porsche," like a set of ENVE hoops. These things are distinctly and unapologetically stiff, and they will completely transform the feel of your bike.

– Bike Magazine

The M60 Forty HV uni-directional carbon fiber mountain bike wheels pay tribute to the sport of mountain biking by honoring the aspects of human powered climbs and the most technically challenging downhills alike.  In order to make a carbon fiber mountain bike rim defined by it’s versatility it is necessary to make it light, strong, stiff, and durable.  The ENVE M60 Forty features ENVE’s patented molded in spoke hole technology that allows for increased strength to weight performance.  By not drilling the spoke holes, the fiber remains intact resulting in a stronger more efficient structure.  While some riders will view the M60 as the ultimate trail and light duty enduro wheelset, others will acknowledge its light weight and use it for everyday XC riding and racing.  As the most versatile wheelset in the M Series line of wheels the M60 HV is intended for use with full suspension mountain bikes in the 4-6″ (110-150mm) travel range. Two rim widths exist to accommodate those wishing to run standard and high volume tires. The M60 HV is designed for tires between 2.3 and 2.4″ wide.  Additionally, the M60 HV features hookless bead tubeless technology that produces a stronger tubeless seal and virtually eliminates any unpredictable losses of air as the result of hard impacts and cornering.  Durability is a major factor in achieving downhill confidence and performance and the M60 delivers high levels of downhill performance through an optimized rim geometry that helps dampen and absorb impacts while still maintaining a high level of lateral and torsional stiffness to ensure straight and true tracking over the roughest terrain. The ENVE M60 Forty HV is proudly made in the USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from M60/40 HV !!!!!!!!!!!!! "Killer" The M60/40 HV 29er wheels are exactly what I expected. Little to no maintenance, incredible feel, awesome look, perfect level of stiffness, killer absorption, strong as heck, and most importantly, no worries at all!! I am currently running a set on my Santa Cruz Hightower CC with Dt Swiss Hubs and Aero light bladed spokes. The inner rim width of 26mm is perfect for the style of ridding I do, which consists of pushing all pieces of equipment and product to the limits. Just like my first set of M60/40 29er wheels, in which I rode for two strait years with no issues, I assume the M60/40 HVs will keep a smile on my face as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Wheel Set ! Just received my new wheel set from the great folks at Enve. First off... Cannot say enough about the customer service. Specifically Carson and Arron. These guys made it happen after an error on MY PART when ordering. Quick turn around and NOW.... Well you all see what the finished product looks like. So.... How does the bike feel you might be asking? Nothing short of Amazing. Stiffness is out of this world. Going in to the turns... Hold on because these babies rock!! Figure out a way to get these on your bike and you will forget about the price tag very shortly afterwards.. Thanks Enve for what you do... Cheers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Customer Service! Best Wheels!! So, I just upgraded to the M 60 29er wheels from my previous wheels and what a difference!! I ride an "All Mountain" 29er and I push myself and my 190 pound body pretty hard. These wheels are not only light and stiff but they have a "ride quality" about them that makes my bike handling really shine. Plus, they just look killer!! I cannot say enough about the customer service at ENVE. I have some older ENVE wheels on my other bike that had one small problem (needed brass nipples swapped from the aluminum). After reviewing my "hammered" spokes, they replaced the spokes with NEW at no charge and sent me new stickers to freshen up the wheels; they didn't have to do that but they did!! Great products, Great service!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loves All Mountain The M60 wheels really hits the mark when it comes to a perfect balance of strength, performance and feel. The M60 is my go to wheel on my trail bikes for backcountry and multi day epics in the Whistler valley and beyond… I also enjoy the fact i can change colours with wheel decals to match my bikes, giving them a unique and custom look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "YOU have NO idea how HARD I ride BRO!" ENVE M SERIES 60 FORTY CARBON FIBER MOUNTAIN BIKE WHEELSET This is honestly the best wheel set I have ever owned. I made the switch to ENVE this summer and will NEVER go back. They are stiffer than a 60 year old on a double dose of viagra but as playful as a puppy on crack. Their ability to transfer power and precision on the climbs is only exceeded by there downright driven tracking during descents. They can be a touch twitchy though rock gardens but as long as you get the bike out in front and trust it you will be signaling to pass on the left all day long. This year I was the first person to bike all of the legal 14,000 foot peaks in Colorado. It was a brutal journey covering 14 individual peaks but the M series 60 forty performed flawlessly. ZERO flats or burps due to a phenomenal fit rim to tire. They handled the silky smooth descents as well as the bombed out big hitting talus fields. Despite their durability they were light enough to keep my rig feather weight so carrying it on my shoulders up long hike a bikes was no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING I enjoyed riding my Niner ROS9 since the day a swung my leg over it but I've loved every second with it since I put on a set of M60s! I have three pair of ENVE wheels now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing, even without a tire... I have been so impressed by ENVE wheelsets ever since I made the switch. And the m60's can handle an incredible beating. On one occasion, I finished the last 6 miles of the Downieville Downhill on the bare rear rim due to a tire failure. There were a few nicks but it mounted up tubeless again without a problem. The rim is no longer a weak point... get stronger tires to match!
