WHAT IS IT?

A truly innovative rigid mountain bike fork

WHO IS IT FOR?

Hard-bodied, gram-conscious, single-speed loving mountain bikers averse to suspension

WHY DID WE MAKE IT?

There is beauty in simplicity and it’s hard to argue with the simplicity of an unsuspended mountain bike. Despite the simple nature of a rigid mountain fork, our Mountain Fork is loaded with unique features like a removable fender, disc brake hose clip, and reversible axle inserts to fine tune the rake of the fork to match your ride preference and application.

People Are Saying…

As a final verdict to this review, I can only repeat myself: “The ENVE MTN fork is the most advanced carbon rigid fork that you can currently get your hands on.”

Riding rigid isn’t for everyone, but if you’re going to do it there is no better tool you can put on the front end of your bicycle. Made from 100% uni-directional carbon fiber, the ENVE Mountain Fork is lightweight and stiff in all the right places. All ENVE forks are constructed in one-piece from the top of the steerer tube to the bottom of the dropouts. This construction method means that there is no-bonding, bladder materials, or excess weight in the fork, just uninterrupted carbon fibers. Additional features that add the experience of going it rigid are one of a kind reversible drop out chips that let riders fine tune the fork rake to their bike and preferred style. A removable mini carbon fiber fender is there to simply assist in keeping mud, water, and grime off your grill. The disc brake specific Mountain Fork features ENVE’s unique hose retention clips which means that disc brake hoses are external and secured by a simple carbon clip. By using one of the included adapters, the riders may run 140, 160, or 180mm disc brake rotors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Enve mountain fork on High Ball Lifecycle bike shop put the Enve Moutain fork on my 2012 Santa Cruz High Ball hard tail as part of a single speed fully rigid conversion for wet winter single track riding in the pacific northwest. We used the 52 degree rake. I love the fork. The increased rake improved the stability at speed (e.g., on gravel road or smooth single track descent), there is no vibration transmitted to my hands, and as long as I keep my shoulders and elbows relaxed, I do not miss the suspension for trail riding. It is fund to ride, partly due to the lighter front end and partly due to increased connection with the trail. The carbon fender catches most of the mud, but some dose fly up into my face at higher speeds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handle like a suspension fork I'm built my Lynskey single speed with this fork and let me tell you this fork is great have a ENVE flat handlebar with it and love it so much that I'm putting this fork in my steel ROS9 that I run geared.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I have ridden fully rigid for the last several years, and I thought the Niner RDO fork was the end all, be all of rigid riding. I was dead wrong. With everything else on my bike already Enved out (wheels, stem, bars, seatpost), I finally decided to shell out more $ and try out the Enve Mountain fork on my bike. Night and day difference. The Enve fork is FAR more compliant and dampening than the Niner. If you are riding rigid, don't even consider anything else. The ability to tinker with the rake is amazing too, for far more responsive steering. With these things working together, I knocked down a few Strava PRs this evening while riding with my 9 year-old daughter (i.e. a "slow" ride). It's ridiculous. The cable routing clamps are an awesome design too. No more screwing around with zip ties. I can't wait until it starts to rain and I get to try out the fender. Thanks Enve.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fork I have about 100 miles on this fork now and I am loving it. It handles great and feels great on the trail. This is a very comfortable ride; at times I forget that I am riding a rigid fork.
