WHAT IS IT?

Aero clip-on extensions specific to the ENVE SES Aero Road Bar

WHO IS IT FOR?

Triathletes and road cyclists

WHY DID WE MAKE IT?

While owning a TT specific superbike is without a doubt something all cyclists should experience once in their cycling lifetime, it isn’t required to go faster. The SES Aero Clip-On bars integrate seamlessly into the SES Aero Road Bar to help riders achieve the most aerodynamic position possible on their road bikes. Furthermore, combining the SES Aero Road Bar with Clip-Ons is an excellent solution for hilly time trials and triathlons where riding a road bike and saving weight offers the best chances for success.

The SES Aero Extensions integrate seamlessly with the SES Aero Road Bar and provide the fastest solution for athletes looking for refined aerodynamics on a road bike. The SES Aero Extensions are compatible only with the SES Aero Road Handlebar. The Aero Clip-On Extensions are constructed from 100% uni-directional carbon fiber and cold forged aluminum. The clip-on bars share the same extensions as the SES Aero TT Bar and may be cut to three unique styles including J-bend, S-bend, and the straight. If the rider desires to do so, shifters may be run on the extensions. The carbon pad carriers allow for a smooth vibration dampened ride and with a reversible 8 hole pattern the perfect pad position may be achieved. The pads are compression molded neoprene and provide a comfortable arm rest and slip-free surface.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Where are the armrest extensinos?? I ordered 2 custom Aero road bikes this past year equipped with Enve wheels, fork, aero road bars and clip on aero bars. All their stuff is top of the line quality. Why the heck didn't you include a simple height extension kit with your aerobars?? Not everyone wants to be that low on the bars. Look at any bike rack at an IM. Everyone adjusts to different comfort heights. I have this incredible bike I bought for IM racing. I raced my Giant Propel all year instead because it fit me better with their aerobars. I had much more power with the adjustment blocks under the pads. I called Enve to ask and they said they would bring it up to their tech dept. guess not. I ended up Mickey mousing some Giant ones under the Enve pads for now but holes don't match up for 2 bolts so not totally secure. It's an easy concept. Please consider. Here's the before and after.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality, the best aero bar extensions Enve makes the best carbon period! The feel of these clip-ons are amazing and I have peace of mind knowing that load bearing on these light weight components are not a problem. The "J" configuration in my opinion are too talI and not the most aero position so I cut my extensions to the "S" configuration which is perfect for me. To minimize the weight you don't really have a ton of adjustability in the pad height dept. These are really designed for the versatile cyclist who likes to climb, be aero and who doesn't want to use bull-horn bars and electronic shifting. Don't make these your first set of extension bar clip-ons. These bars need to be cut to length so experimenting can be costly and restrictive. But if you are use to aero position and your looking to upgrade, look no further.
