2026 Ironman World Championship Recap

ENVE athletes delivered several strong performances after a wild, windy week in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

Sam Long scorched the bike course, averaging 26.66 mph.

Sam chose the ENVE SES 100 PROs for their superior aerodynamics and stability in Kona's crosswinds. We built the rear ENVE SES 100 PRO exclusively for our professional athletes in Kona, since Ironman doesn't allow disc wheels for this race. Sam’s 4:12:50 bike split was fifth on the day, carrying him to sixth place overall in his Kona debut. His strong season, highlighted by wins at Ironman 70.3 Gulf Coast and Ironman 70.3 Boise, propelled Sam to 10th overall in the 2026 Ironman Pro Series Standings.
