ENVE has a novel end cap design. When a client damaged and lost one of his I suspected getting another might be a hassle. Nope. I had found them on the website and had them ordered immediately. They shipped promptly, and arrived quickly, making my job easier. Proprietary bike parts can be annoying to source. Not so here. Much appreciated.

GREAT CONCEPT FOR BAR ENDS. THE ONLY ISSUE IS THE RUBBER END CAP SEEM TO WEAR OUT, QUICKLY.

Have always loved how these create a clean integrated finish over the bar=wrap at the bar ends. Especially AWESOME that these are now an easily ordered replacement part (cause they can get pulled off and lost from time-to-time when ya' might spill in the backcountry).

I'm glad I checked the Enve site for replacement bar end plugs. I mistakenly thought that the bar ends were not replaceable when I bought the handlebars and that I would have to resort to cutting off the end of handlebars to use 'regular' bar plugs.

Enve makes great components, a little on the spendy side, but quality nonetheless. These bar end plugs are simply garbage. The torpedo ended bars are completely unnecessary, I cannot find any benefit of this design over the regular, open-ended bar ends. Now for these proprietary plugs. They don't work: 1. they don't make a nice, clean, secure end for the start of the bar tape, 2. they don't want to stay in the end of the bars, 3. Despite being relatively expensive and proprietary, they are of poor quality and not really reusable. I'm going to trim the ends of my bars to accept regular bar ends.

The bar end plugs on my Enve handle bars broke off after several years and many handlebar tape removals and rewraps. Initially I thought I would have to replace my handlebars since the bar plugs that ship with handlebar tape are different. I was glad to find Enve has replace plugs that were easy to install and didn't cost much.

Nothing lasts forever and these can become frail over time. New ones help keep things looking clean and fresh. Easy removal and install to freshen the bar ends.

I don't love Enve's choice to use brand specific bar ends but I do appreciate that they make them readily available to purchase when one falls off on the road. Super fast shipping as well
