CICLI BARCO
Province of Padua, Italy
Since the early 2000s, the team has been refining the fusion of Columbus XCr stainless steel and high-performance carbon fiber—a combination that exemplifies the pinnacle of their framebuilding expertise.
Signature features such as the 3Days hand-printed junctions and the integrated seatpost have become defining elements of the Quinta Strada road frames, offering a harmonious blend of structural integrity, refined aesthetics, and exceptional ride quality.
In a continued pursuit of innovation, this year marked a bold step forward with the integration of advanced technologies and structural enhancements. Highlights include the debut of the Integrated Stealth Post, a custom-designed UDH dropout for improved drivetrain compatibility, and the Zero headtube, enabling fully integrated cable routing with the latest 1”1/2 cockpit systems. To honor their craftsmanship and the premium materials employed, the special edition showcases a striking “Primitiva” marble-effect finish on the XCr tubeset, complemented by a sleek glossy coat on the Italian UD carbon—accentuating the beauty of each component.
BINGHAM BUILT
Steamboat Springs, CO, USA
Bingham Built frames are crafted exclusively in their workshop in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, USA. The team builds a wide range of bikes—gravel, road, mountain, cyclocross, fat tire, tandem, commuter, and everything in between. Each frame is constructed from the ground up, one at a time, and tailored specifically to the individual rider. Because these bikes are never mass-produced or built in batches, Bingham Built does not offer stock sizes or standardized models. There are no marketing campaigns or sales teams—just a small, dedicated group focused on delivering exceptional rider experiences and producing some of the highest-performing titanium bikes available.
Every Bingham Built bike is fully custom, with tubeset, components, and geometry selected to meet the rider’s unique fit and performance needs. This particular build features the ENVE IN-Route system, enhanced with bespoke details by the Bingham Built team at every turn.
At the heart of the build is the frame, designed to reflect the rider’s specific requirements. It offers a ride quality that balances stability with agility, accommodates tires over 50 mm wide, supports modern drivetrain systems, and incorporates concealed cable routing through the Enve In-route system.
BLACK MAGIC
Portland, OR, USA
ENVE MOG
For this year’s ENVE GRODEO Builder Round Up, the spotlight was placed on the raw beauty of the ENVE MOG. The custom finish was designed to reveal and celebrate the carbon construction itself, using House of Kolor Kandy to enhance the exposed material rather than conceal it. Under bright sunlight, the blue hue radiates with vibrant depth, while in lower light it shifts to a rich navy, subtly exposing the carbon beneath. Fine silver graphics offer a clean contrast and complement the component details.
Painted by Black Magic Paint—a proud ENVE custom paint partner and dealer since 2018—the bike is configured to tackle a wide range of terrain year-round, from fast-rolling mixed surfaces to the rugged sections that define the Grodeo experience. Outfitted with SRAM’s RED XPLR 13-speed group with power meter, ENVE SES 3.4 wheels, and 50mm Schwalbe G-One RX tires, the build delivers capability and confidence without compromising speed. It’s a versatile, high-performance machine, ready for wherever the route leads.
CHUMBA
Austin, TX, USA
Chumba Cenote Suspension Gravel Bike
Available in both titanium and steel, complete bikes and framesets come in a wide range of sizes with extensive customization options and custom finishes. The featured build—a size 56 Cenote Titanium Suspension Gravel Bike—is equipped with a Cane Creek Invert suspension fork offering 40mm of travel with lockout, ENVE G23 Innerdrive carbon wheels, ENVE Hex 48mm tires, and a full ENVE cockpit. It also includes Wheels MFG bronze and blue components, a 5Dev titanium crankset, and custom anodized graphics on a hand-brushed titanium frame.
For the ENVE Framebuilder Showcase, Chumba focused on highlighting the craftsmanship of the handmade titanium Cenote frame and the clean aesthetic of ENVE components. To emphasize these elements, the bike was stripped down to singlespeed mode, showcasing precise welds and striking anodized details.
The Cenote is designed with future-proofing in mind. A quick swap of the dropout insert allows riders to run UDH, T-Type, or traditional mount derailleurs. Developed in collaboration with PMW, the UDH insert even makes legacy models compatible with Transmission drivetrains. The frameset accommodates 700x50mm tires, offers clearance for a 44T chainring on standard chainlines, and fits common axle-to-crown lengths from major suspension fork brands including Cane Creek, Fox, and RockShox.
ENGLISH CYCLES
Eugene, OR, USA
English Cycles Ultimate Commuter
Working with bikes every day leaves little time for maintaining personal machines, yet reliable transportation is essential for a 28-mile commute. This build features an ENVE aero cockpit and wheels, which help reduce travel time. A Gates belt drive paired with a Shimano internally geared hub offers a weather-resistant, low-maintenance drivetrain. Integrated fenders ease the burden of rainy days, while the built-in pannier rack provides a secure space for carrying a laptop and gear. For added safety, the rear light is seamlessly integrated into the seatmast for enhanced visibility.
The original version of this bike was built in 2009 and has consistently delivered on its purpose—logging countless miles with minimal upkeep, requiring little more than the occasional new tire. The updated model continues that legacy in a lighter, more aerodynamic, and modern package, designed to endure another 15 years of steady use and benign neglect.
ENVE
Ogden, UT, USA
Custom Road
ENVE’s Custom Road is crafted in the very building where the Builder Round-Up is hosted. Each frame begins with the customer, as every bike is uniquely tailored in geometry and paint. This particular Custom Road is even more special than most—its frame, handlebar, and rims were all laid up by the bike’s owner, ENVE’s very own Jason Marriot, who built the bike for himself.
Finished in ENVE’s signature black base color, the bike features Gold Prizm Webbing and Gold Leaf logos, creating a truly stunning look.
First released in 2021, the Custom Road combines the performance of a molded carbon frame with geometry customization that is only known in the custom bike community. With an integrated seatmast and tuning aimed to deliver a ride quality that can't be found anywhere else.
HOFF CYCLES & WOLF TOOTH
Bethleham, PA, USA
Burnsville, MN, USA
This project came to life through our desire to dive into each and every detail and build a genre mash-up of a bike that didn’t yet exist. The geometry is informed by a World Tour proven race bike, ridden by a certain black and yellow squad at Roubaix. This DNA is applied to a steel bike that balances weight, efficiency, and speed, built with the most modern selection of tubing available, and grounded by a timeless construction method. On paper, an aggressive low stack and long reach pair with a super tight wheelbase and 58mm of trail for telepathic handling and rock solid power transfer in or out of the saddle. The BB drop and trail figures are based on a 36mm tire, with max clearance for a 40mm, further blurring the lines between a race bike and an endurance machine that is at home chasing KOMs and horizons via endless days in the saddle.
Fillet brazed at Adam's new shop in Bethlehem, PA, it is custom in every way possible. We hand selected tubes together with Carl from Metal Guru and Diego from Columbus at this year’s Philly Bike Expo.
We chose to present the bike this way to give the audience insight into the craft that went into creating the frame, showing off the careful mitering of complex tube shapes, the brazing and filing work, how the headtube was created, and to let the steel and the bike as a form speak for themselves without paint getting in the way and influencing the viewer.
The color we chose is a paint-to-sample Porsche Vesuvius Grey Metallic (X7J/X7), with Hoff and ENVE logos painted in a brass hue to accent the fillet brazing and raw ABRACADABRA headbadge, the fork, Pro Aero cockpit, and seatpost are painted to match.
HOLLAND
San Diego, CA, USA
Rat Rod
The inspiration behind the Rat Rod build stemmed from a single photo sent by a longtime Holland Cycles client. The image featured a patinaed 1960s pickup truck with a big block engine and oversized rear tires. This particular client has supported Holland Cycles for over 30 years and owns a bike in every frame material the company has worked with—steel, titanium, Exogrid, carbon, and even an Exogrid tandem. The project offered a rare opportunity for full creative freedom, with the client granting carte blanche on every detail, from paint and layup to modulus and geometry. The result is a truly custom bike in every aspect, from ride quality to aesthetic. With the expert collaboration of longtime painter Joe Bell, the team crafted a unique look that extends from the frame to the rims, hubs, bottle cages, stem top cap, and computer mount.
Built to celebrate Holland Cycles’ 50th anniversary, the Rat Rod features HC carbon layup with varying modulus, precisely controlled in each tube through a lugged carbon design. The rear stay was redesigned to allow greater clearance for both tire and rotor, and custom 6/4 titanium dropouts were added. The build is completed with an ENVE cockpit and 4.5 wheelset, SRAM Red drivetrain, Arundel cages, and a Busyman leather saddle and bar tape. Finished with JB paint, the bike is a bold expression of craftsmanship, personality, and pure riding joy.
JAEGHER
Flanders, Belgium
Ascender Pheonix
Every Jaegher bike is crafted in Flanders, with the first Ascender Phoenix models scheduled for delivery in June 2025. Jaegher, the award-winning Belgian custom bike brand, introduces the Ascender Phoenix as a bold step into the future. This new model will be showcased at ENVE Grodeo, where cutting-edge 3D technology meets masterful craftsmanship to create bike geometry precisely tailored to each rider. With an optimized riding position, performance is enhanced, discomfort is minimized, and maximum power is extracted from every pedal stroke.
The Ascender Phoenix exemplifies stainless steel elegance. Thanks to the exceptional properties of the latest generation stainless steel—offering an ideal balance of stiffness, weight, and comfort—this material is perfectly suited for high-performance bike construction. Building a stainless steel frame requires intensive labor and expert skill, which is why many mass-market brands favor more easily produced and less expensive alternatives. Jaegher stands apart as one of the first brands to integrate 3D printing into stainless steel frame production in a seamless and refined way.
This bike represents a harmonious blend of form and function. Stainless steel provides greater stiffness than titanium, ensuring optimal power transfer, while its natural vibration-damping qualities contribute to a ride that is both responsive and comfortable. The result is a machine that delivers exceptional performance without compromising on comfort or aesthetics.
TRACKLINE TIME TRIAL
The Builder Round-Up included tours of ENVE's production facility and the infamous Trackline Time Trial. The Trackline's half-mile course tested the VO2 Max and bike handling skills of those willing to take the start ramp.
