REAL-WORLD FAST
The SES wheel line is engineered for "Real-World Fast" performance, optimizing aerodynamics, weight, and stability for diverse riding conditions. Each model features differential front and rear rim profiles with shallower fronts for crosswind stability and deeper rears for reduced drag. Developed with the world's fastest cyclists to deliver an advantage at the Tour de France, or the Saturday group ride.
MEET THE LINE UP
the pinnacle of innovation
With direct input from Tadej Pogačar and UAE Team Emirates—XRG, the SES 4.5 PRO is designed for cyclists seeking the ultimate wheelset, where low weight, aerodynamics, and rolling efficiency meet.
uncompromising climber
Purpose-built for the mountains. Ultra-light, respectfully aerodynamic, and optimized for tubeless tires, the SES 2.3 raises the bar for performance through hilly and mountainous terrain.
Versatile, aero, light, and fast
The SES 3.4 a modern road wheel that is raced at the World Tour level, but it’s also a favorite for gravel events due to its feature benefits that clearly separate it from other wheels in the same depth category.
class-leading aerodynamics and stability
Whether you’re pinning on the number for race day or seeking the fastest road wheelset across undulating terrain, the SES 4.5 is in the sweet spot for speed.
All Out Speed
The ultimate triathlon wheel prioritizes aerodynamics and stability, all at a low weight. The SES 6.7 goes head-to-head in the wind tunnel with the very best TT and tri wheels on the market.
THE SES DIFFERENCE
The foundation of the Smart ENVE System (SES) philosophy is the concept of Real-World Fast™ performance that goes back to 2009 when we partnered with leading aerodynamicist, Simon Smart. It embodies Smart’s holistic vision. It’s not just about aerodynamics but also how wheels integrate with the bike, rider, and environment.
There’s a simple reason why SES wheels consistently score “best in test” in nearly any third-party aero test. We’re committed to sweating the small stuff and chasing the marginal gains that others will not.

BEST IN CLASS AERO
Wind tunnel testing
Tested at 20 mph (32 kph) and 30 mph (48 kph). Our SES promise of Real-World Fast isn’t limited only to cycling’s elite.
Weighted Average Drag - All wind angles are not created equally. Anemometer data shows that most of your ride time will be spent in wind at less than 12 degrees yaw. Weighted average drag is a tool that helps a rider understand the aero efficiency of a wheelset in real-world wind and riding conditions.

PURPOSE-BUILT PERFORMANCE
Each SES wheel model is crafted to excel in specific riding scenarios while maintaining real-world versatility. From the ultra-light SES 2.3 for conquering climbs to the aero-optimized SES 6.7 for high-speed flats, and the gravel-ready SES 3.4 and 4.5 for mixed-terrain adventures, every rim is handmade in Ogden, Utah, with tailored rim profiles and widths to deliver unmatched speed, stability, and efficiency. This dedication ensures riders experience precision-engineered performance.

When speed matters most, ENVE athletes find themselves reaching for SES 3.4s and 4.5s
What SES wheels are the enve athletes riding
The ENVE SES 3.4 and 4.5 wheels are engineered for riders who demand performance across road and gravel, just like pro cyclist Alexey Vermeulen, who trusts them in grueling events like Unbound Gravel and the Life Time Grand Prix. With a 25mm internal rim width and Wide Hookless Bead design, these wheelsets support high-volume tires for superior traction, pinch-flat resistance, and comfort on mixed terrain.
Innerdrive Hub System
Featured in all SES wheels is the ENVE Premium Straight Pull hub, a 100% ENVE drive mechanism. Oversized steel ratchets are positioned inboard and over the bearings, reducing stress on the axle and bearings while ensuring positive and reliable engagement.
TUBELESS OPTIMIZED
Tubeless also allows you to run much lower tire pressures for far greater comfort, traction, and efficiency, especially over poor road surfaces and gravel, all without sacrificing speed. The potential for pinch flats and, with sealant, debris punctures is all but eliminated.
Tubeless represents the pinnacle of road wheel and tire performance, and the hookless bead design plays a significant role. A hookless rim design allows for machined metal tooling to establish a precise and consistent bead seat diameter that meets the defined requirement by ETRTO. That precision fitment between the tubeless tire bead and the rim’s bead seat ensures air and tire retention.
