Your body accounts for the majority of the aerodynamic drag while riding. In order to achieve the most gains in terms of aero efficiency, one must first look at their position.

The SES Aero Road Bar is proven in the wind tunnel as not only a very fast bar in itself but also one that puts the rider into a more aerodynamic position.

Extremely well designed

Designers did a thorough job designing this bar in regards to Di2 wire routing and provide time saving/headache saving tips in the instructions.

What an amazing set of handlebars. Incredible economics sleek shape, and most importantly they are undeniably stiff. Perfect for the rider who is looking to maximize every watt when sprinting.

Deserve all of the praise

I have been riding on these bars for a number of months now and they are extremely comfortable and VERY responsive/stiff. I legitimately feel like I can sprint longer and harder than previous bar setups I have had due to the construction. It took a little getting used to going narrower on the hoods, but the flared drops are certainly nice for added control (37/42).

I am thinking about putting the 39/44s on my gravel bike and getting the aero clip-ons so they can be used on both bikes.

Mechanical housings

Very difficult to insert and thread two mechanical housings. Had to get creative in installing them. Very tight and difficult fit. Once done they work fine.

Favorite bar!

I replaced my Roval Rapide cockpit on my SL8 S-Works Tarmac with this Enve bar. Enve comes through again with this bar. Fits seamlessly and looks great. Every Enve product I've purchased has always been phenomenal and I'm a customer for life.

Probably the best road bar i've ever used

Title says it all. Looks great. Has a little bit of flare in the drops which I like. Comes in 38cm or 36cm options to get Aero. Is comfortable enough to climb on the tops if needed on long mountains

Perfect Shape, Perfect Size

Love the shape and size of this bar. I am 6'3" 175 and choose the 37cm sizing. In the drops or hoods, my body and arms feel compact and aero...and fast. Very glad to have this bar on my bike.

I needed a narrow handle bar because I'm 5'3 and small frame. This provided that option in a super aero light handle bar for my new SL8 Pro frame.

Still amazing

This is my second pair of ENVE aero handlebars. I got the in-route to replace the non-in-routable ones I've been using the last couple of years. Honestly, I was a bit unsure of the flare due to the narrower position of the hoods, but I've come to love it. Now all future bars will be judged against these.

Really nice quality

Enve products are always built very well, and the handlebars are no exception.

Simply outstanding

Where to start? These replaced a pair of standard Enve Aero bars which replaced standard Enve Road Compact bars which replaced some Roval integrated bars and many before that. Definitely the best and by a big margin. Why?

First, the shape mates perfectly with new SRAM RED (2024) levers and with DuraAce 9200 series levers. The levers just disappear into the bars with no mounting or comfort issues. Second, the bars are supremely stiff -- I didn't expect this with the aero flat tops, but they are significantly stiffer in a hard sprint than anything else I've tried short of track sprint bars. Yet, third, the tops are so broad and the transitions to the levers are so good that it doesn't pound my hands, even on baby-head gravel. And the shape works perfectly to give consistent reach to all parts of the bars, not like many bars where one is reaching far for one position and not for another.

This bar also comes in a narrow width with 35 cm at the levers. With bars getting narrower and narrower in racing this really lets them be competitive and the shape helps make that 35 cm work really well. Try it. It takes a couple rides to be really comfortable, but then you suddenly realize your aero profile is smaller and you are inherently on a stiffer bar (shorter lever arms if nothing else) and you can tuck in and actually generate more speed. Pretty cool.

The hydraulic routing is effortless and the bars mate perfectly with Enve's aero road stem. I was waiting for an integrated Enve bar but this gave me flexibility in sizing I couldn't get with the integrated and I'm totally happy.

Simply a perfect bar whether you want wide gravel-y bars or something for serious speed. No reservations.

SES Aero Handlebar

Wonderful handlebar with a rather unique two different sizes in hoods and drops but it works very well for me (37 mm and 42 mm). Tested with an another brand’s integrated stem and computer mount and it had no compatibility issues with the handlebar according to my bike mechanic. Minimalistic look and 5-year limited warranty is an added plus. At this price point I was hoping the product to be not only designed but also manufactured in US, but I understand why the labour and production is outsourced to China.

Ses Aero Road Bar

Wish the bars had a little bit area to attach a normal garmin mount or equal. That would make the bars a ***** in my book.

Hey Jack,
Thanks for the review! We have a great solution for you if you're using an ENVE Aero stem - check out the Aero Stem Computer Mount (sku 300-1012-015, url: https://enve.com/products/aero-stem-computer-mount). Hope this helps!

Love the shape and flare however it is nearly impossible to route shift and brake cables through these bars, the most difficult task of any bike maintenance I've ever experienced. Just working the cable back and forth to snake it out the other end shreds the cable housing. simply increasing the hole sizing would alleviate the entire problem, I'm contemplating doing it myself.
