New Shapes, new features

- Wider Front Wheel - Increases tire volume and support, allowing for lower tire pressure and more traction
- Narrower Rear Wheel - Reduces tire volume and support for more forgiveness and improved rolling resistance
external spoke nipples
All M Series rims feature ENVE's patented Molded Spoke Hole technology (US Patent # 8,313,155 B2) with external locking nipples. Additionally, each nipple is equipped with a nyloc insert to keep spokes tensioned and wheels true.
Rim Depth and sidewalls
- Depth - Shallow 20mm depth for optimal balance of compliance, weight savings, and reliability
- Sidewalls - The concavity of the sidewalls aids in striking a balance between durability and compliance
rim leading edge
- Front - leading edge is narrower to save weight, so that more material can be deployed to the rear wheel where damage is more likely to occur
- Rear - leading edge is wider to enhance pinch-flat protection and impact toughness

More than 18 years of impact testing and real world riding have provided us with a baseline and the data for improvements. With the culmination of 322 prototypes and 1,270 rims over a four-year R&D project, its time to "send it."
ENVE pioneered two game-changing technologies with the objective of eliminating the dreaded pinch-flat forever. Technologies such as the Protective Rim Strip and Wide Hookless Bead distribute impact energy and provide enhanced protection to the tire and rim.

- Blunt leading rim edge dissipates impact forces across a broader surface area and reduces the likelihood of pinch-flats by 50% in lab tests

- Enhanced Tubeless - The Protective Rim Strip eliminates the need for rim tape, and provides added confidence that should a spoke break while riding, your tape will not be punctured and tubeless seal will remain intact
- Isolated Air Chamber - Should the rim be damaged, the Protective Rim Strip delivers and independent seal between tire and the rim, preventing air loss
- Eliminates the need for assistance from tire inserts to prevent pinch-flats, saving weight
