For the most annoying seatpost ever made...

Not only is the ENVE seatpost annoying as hell to angle properly, the fact that its hardware failed after four seasons tells you all you need to know about why they have reverted to the more common and traditional two-bolt seatpost hardware for the new Melee V2.

If I could put the new seatpost on my 2023 Melee, I would. At least purchasing the hardware was simple. I love ENVE products, but this overengineered hardware is an epic fail.

Great piece of kit but take some time to watch vids to get installation right

I really like how solid this holder is, but be sure to watch the videos so you know how to install it correctly. If you don't, it can be fiddly and not work well. Investing a few minutes makes all the difference.

Seat bolt kit complicated

The seat bolt kit is overly engineered and trickery to adjust. I watched a video and talked with a bike mechanic to figure out how to reinstall the right size and adjust it. I’ve been riding for 25 years and built up 6 bikes. I recommend a better and simpler design.
