Costruito per uno scopo preciso

Il progresso ai massimi livelli è incrementale e iterativo, e ENVE ha ridefinito il riferimento SES 4.5 per offrire maggiore velocità e minor peso. Vincendo tutto, dal Tour de France ai Campionati del Mondo e alla Ronde van Vlaanderen, Tadej ha elevato il SES 4.5 a essere la ruota più dominante nel peloton pro, conquistando classiche su pavé, ripide vette montane e i terreni più impegnativi con una velocità senza pari. Ha dato priorità alla supremazia aerodinamica rispetto al puro risparmio di peso, fidandosi dell'efficienza leader di categoria del SES 4.5 per ottenere risultati. Tuttavia, lui e UAE Team Emirates hanno immaginato qualcosa di ancora più ambizioso: una ruota che preserva i vantaggi aero del SES 4.5 raggiungendo al contempo la precisione ultraleggera delle ruote da scalata d'élite.

Oltre un anno di meticoloso sviluppo del mozzo, perfezionamento del laminato in carbonio e innovazioni produttive hanno portato alla creazione del SES 4.5 PRO.

PRO nel nome significa che si tratta di un prodotto sviluppato in diretta collaborazione con i migliori corridori del mondo e rappresenta il vertice dell'innovazione — progettato e costruito per prestazioni vincenti in gara. Il SES 4.5 PRO è il primo prodotto nella nostra linea strada a ricevere questa designazione.

Le gare su strada del World Tour richiedono un equilibrio eccezionale tra aerodinamica, ottimizzazione del peso e conformità agli organi di governo. Il focus del SES 4.5 PRO sulle esigenze dei corridori professionisti richiede la conformità ai regolamenti sulle attrezzature dell'organo di governo. A seconda dei requisiti del percorso, i corridori scelgono spesso pneumatici da 28 mm quando le condizioni del manto stradale sono lisce e il risparmio di peso è prioritario. Con il 4.5 attualmente nella gamma, dove i corridori lo abbinano più spesso a pneumatici da 30 mm, ENVE ha colto l'opportunità di creare un set di ruote aerodinamico e da scalata costruito ad hoc, non pensato per essere la ruota tuttofare, ma piuttosto uno strumento raffinato per scalare alle velocità del World Tour.

COSTRUZIONE SES 4.5 PRO

Il nuovo design del cerchio fa risparmiare 50 grammi per cerchio rispetto al SES 4.5. È qui che è stato risparmiato il peso.

PRESTAZIONI AERODINAMICHE

La foundation del sistema Smart ENVE (SES) è il concetto di prestazioni Real-World Fast™ che risale al 2009, quando abbiamo collaborato con il rinomato aerodinamicista Simon Smart. Ciò significa perseguire la velocità massima, ma non a scapito di importanti attributi prestazionali come peso, durata e stabilità.

Il SES 4.5 PRO soddisfa questi requisiti preservando la maggior parte della forma brevettata del SES 4.5 e quindi la sua aerodinamica e le sue caratteristiche di guida leader di categoria. Compliant, Responsive, Dependable, lightweight! Yea, I know they aren’t inexpensive but we get what we pay for. I started riding ENVES after I had a warranty problem with another big name wheel manufacturer giving me the runaround and making the warranty issue a BIG ISSUE! After this I researched after purchase service / warranty and went with Enve. Im glad I did. After approximately 12000 miles on multiple sets of wheel ( I have Enve on all my bike now) not a single problem. Thanks to Roy’s of Sheepshead for hooking me up with great prices and service and Enve for making a superior product.

Why settle for either aero or lightweight when you can have both! Best wheels on the planet. Bombproof and fast! The hub is music as well. Going from my old wheelset that was still decent set (41mm deep and not terribly heavy), I've dropped all my times up, down and on the flats.

Latest and the Greatest

Swapped out my Princeton Carbonworks Evo Peak 4550 which were a 9/10 but the New Enve Pro's are 10/10 for now. until they come out with something better. But I think it will be a while.

Best carbon wheels made in the world!

This is my 3rd set of Enve wheels and they NEVER disappoint. The best build and ride quality available. They get up to speed like lightning and hold speed like nothing else...if anything there begging me to push harder and go faster. I have done thousands of miles and they are as true as the day I purchased them. I've even taken a couple of surprise hits from horrible road pothole's that I couldn't avoid and I thought for sure I had damaged my wheels... Nope, still perfect in every respect! I also love the way they handle in strong gusts and severe crosswinds. I never shy away from windy day rides. My Enve wheels seem to tame those nasty winds and I still ride with confidence, always in complete control and never feel up tight or tense at rides end. Not to mention the best customer service i have ever experienced and when I call I always get a (real) person based at the Enve facility here in the USA. Just the best wheels in the world!!!

Love these wheels, they feel quite a bit faster than the "regular" 4.5 AR Disc wheel set that I was running before. Hubs are silky smooth and look killer as well.

Best wheels set I ever ridden

OMG this wheels set is amazing. It’s looks so nice on my Specialized Tarmac SL8.
It’s light, very stiff but comfortable at the same time. The wheels are so reactive when I accelerate.
I feel now like Pogacar on my bike, it’s nice to be able to ride the same wheels as the greatest cyclist!
