2024 GRODEO BUILDER ROUND-UP: PART 1
This year's GRODEO Builder Round-Up showcased a variety of handmade bikes from around the world. Featuring 24 builds from seven states and five countries, the builders put their best foot forward with their one-off works of art. Utilizing an array of frame materials and bike designs, the bikes of this year's Builder Round-Up are something to behold. Enjoy.

SUPERNAUT GR3
The Supernaut takes everything we’ve learned from years of custom carbon manufacturing and distills it into the purest interpretation of Argonaut ever. With its progressive geometry, wide tire clearance, ultralight raw carbon finish, and data-proven ride tune, the Supernaut GR3 redefines the boundaries of gravel. Made for railing corners, devouring washboards, conquering technical climbs—this bike inspires you to explore your limits because it has none.
Material Used: High Pressure Silicone Molded (HPSM) Carbon Fiber
Build Kit: Featuring a SRAM Red/XX AXS Mullet with a WolfTooth oval chainring, titanium eeWings cranks from Cane Creek, a copper SRAM Eagle chain, a Reform saddle, Schwalbe G-One R tires, and full ENVE touchpoints with SES 4.5 wheels.

INSTINCT
Instinct is a long time project to combine the best of two worlds, titanium and carbon. The goal is to create a bespoke frame with the best power transfer possible without confort compromised. This is why we used 3D printed titanium headtube, seat junction and dropout as lugs combined with high modulus custom carbon tubing in the front triangle and seat stays. We conserved Titanium chainstays to reduce vibrations and optimized tires/crankset clearance. This new bike in the bike show configuration is 6.9kg in large size. Available at the end of 2024 in an allroad version and a gravel version for the start of 2025 with optimized carbon layup and geometry.
Material used: 3D printing Titanium lugs to make the junction with the Carbon filament wound tubing. Fully titanium welded chainstays on 3D printed dropout to optimized tires / crankset clearance.

SLACKR
Introducing the SLACKR, our new 150/140mm travel shreddy Ti hardtail that is designed for all-day trail riding. SLACKR will come in 6 sizes, and fit a 36T chainring and a 29x2.6" tire.
Fabricated in-house using Titanium 3/2.5 Aerospace grade domestic tubing, our custom 3D Additive "Space Yoke", and PMW Sliding dropouts. Built to order. Custom geometry available. The build kit features ENVE M6 wheels, M7 carbon cockpit, Cane Creek's HELM MKii Air 150mm fork and custom anodized Titanium eeWing cranks, in addition to SRAM's XX Transmission.

This particular bike is built up with chunky semi-slick tires and internally routed cables for keeping pace on your group ride but leaving you the option to take the scenic gravel route home. The integrated half frame bag allows for sleek access to any snack or tool you may need on an extended day out. The titanium ANYWRE is designed as an all-road quiver killer (not that we condone 1 bike, of course) with optimal clearance from 30-40mm it is designed to take you anywhere, all terrain, gravel trails to local group rides. With the growing interest in F1 and our long love of all motorsport, we are building 10 of these with your favorite car racing livery, this one on display being the Mario Andretti John Player Special black and gold.

OCCULTO AR
The Occulto AR joins our titanium lineup as the rough road sibling of the Occulto that we debuted last year. These bikes are custom built in the USA and feature our fully 3d printed front end for hidden cabling. This Occulto AR is built around a fast allroad geometry and ENVE's All-Road IN-Route Fork with tire clearances of 40mm.
Further updates include a new 3d printed UDH dropout for some future-proofing - a further collaboration with Josh Ogle, who worked with us on the design and engineering of the headtube along with the seat mast topper. This particular bike is finished with a combination of brushing, bead blasting, and polishing of the frame with a painted to match fork and handlebar. A rugged finish for a bike that'll see some hard miles.

Scarab Cycles presents the Paramo Integrated Delft Chiva, a one-of-a-kind gravel bike, masterfully crafted and hand-painted to blend Dutch heritage with exuberant Colombian culture. Every Chiva tells its own story, and the Chivas produced at Scarab Cycles are no different thanks to the artistry of Fernando, a third-generation Chiva painter. Fernando’s meticulous technique, passed down through generations, involves detailed pencil markings, pinstriping, and brush strokes.
The Paramo Integrated Gravel Racer Delft Chiva is built as a pure gravel racer. Constructed from Columbus Spirit and Life tubing, it offers exceptional power transfer, comfort, and durability. As with every Scarab, the geometry is tailored to Ard’s specifications, ensuring a perfect fit.
TRACKLINE TIME TRIAL
The Builder Round-Up included tours of ENVE's production facility and the infamous Trackline Time Trial. The Trackline's half-mile course tested the VO2 Max and bike handling skills of those willing to take the start ramp.
