Bike Builders for Trail Builders

Each year Builders for Builders gives away a dream bike from one of five custom builders. Stinner Frameworks, Sklar Bikes, Mosaic Cycles, McGovern Cycles and Argonaut Cycles have teamed up to benefit the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship. The winning bike will truly be one-of-a-kind, outfitted with a custom paint job, ENVE wheels and cockpit, made to measure just for you. Last year, Builders for Builders raised $40,000, pouring that back into the community through trail projects. This year they were able to raise $55,000, thank you all for your support.

The custom builders traveled from across the States to ride Lost & Found, a 106 mile gravel race through the high alpine just north of Lake Tahoe. Each year these custom builders create hundreds of bikes that are one-of-a-kind, but this weekend they got to enjoy a handful of days riding their own creations. The custom builder community is the driving force behind where cycling goes while the trail builders provide new land for us to ride and explore. We celebrate this marriage of builders and can’t wait to get back to Portola, CA for next year’s event.
