As the gravel segment of cycling continues to evolve and grow, we rely on our long-trusted small builder community to help us explore bike capabilities through custom collaborations.

With New York-based builder, Horse Cycles, Kevin from ENVE set out to create a bike that utilized the increased clearance of our gravel fork, as well as the capabilities of our gravel handlebars.

Custom geometry and a special bottom bracket shell, along with a host of trick parts including the ENVE gravel fork, allow this bike to be equipped with 27.5×2.25” tires on our G27 wheelset. Paired with the wide and comfortable flare of our Gravel Handlebar, this enables a rider to feel at home in challenging single-track, or across long gravel expeditions.

The paint of the bike also tells a story. A tribute to another frame builder, the paint was first found on Ezra Caldwell’s bike that was built to allow him to keep riding while battling with cancer. Ezra passed away in 2014, but his story lives on. Details such as this paint, a unique bottom bracket shell, the brass badge insignia, and special steel tubing are what truly show these small builder’s craft.
