so stoked about these wheels. coming from the stock alloy wheels, these are so much lighter, spin up so much easier. most bike upgrades don't deliver like these wheels, not what one would call a marginal gain. well made, affordable, the rear hub sounds so good, I was a little hesitant about the white decals, didn't think they'd really go with my blue/green matte bike, but I've come around and really dig the kinda in your face look.

I got involved in a more rural oriented group ride recently and my Roval wheels and cotton race tires on my SL8 began giving me anxiety. I looked at the at the recommendation of my local bike shop, Cadence Cyclery of McKinney. Decided a 32c tire and this wheel would put any and all road condition anxiety to rest. So I bought a pair. They have been perfection. Right price, right ride, holds a 32c tire without compromised handling. Perfection. The spinning logos only add to the experience. I recommend them to all backroad chip and seal riders I come by.

I never understood the hype with aftermarket wheels until trying these! I have the AR40's on my 2026 Trek domane plus ALR 5 e bike and they are a game changer. They are 1.04 pounds lighter than factory and with where the weight is I have so much more confidence on my brakes. I can't recommend these enough for anyone on the fence. Honestly bought these to spice up my matte black Crux a bit. The paint on the AR40 rims matches the minimal black paint on the Crux perfectly, and the bike looks a lot faster with the white ENVE decals set off against all that black.
Tubeless set up was easy peezy.
Freehub sounds absolutely menacing.
This is my 5th set of ENVE wheels (Foudation 45, 65, SES AR 4.5, 3.4)
These feel similar to the 3.4 with gravel tires. The feel much livelier than the Foundation 45, and are a bit wider so more useful than the 45 were off pavement.
They have that great ENVE ride quality and are versatile enough for any type of drop bar riding. Racing, I might want something deeper, but those days are long behind me so I’m expecting to get a lot of use out of these for years to come.

Not gonna lie, I bought these in large part to improve the aesthetics of my matte black Crux. The rims match the paint PERFECTLY and the it doesn’t get any more fast looking than white ENVE logos on a murdered out bike.

This is my 5th set of ENVE wheels. I have ridden both original foundation 45 and 65, SES AR 4.5 and 3.4. These are honestly competitive with the 3.4 wheels and definitely feel like an improvement over the Foundation 45. Not really fair to compare these AR40 to the 65 or the 4.5
Bottom line they have that ENVE ride quality, handle great and are quite versatile. So far I have only ridden them with Vittoria Terreno Zero 47c, but I am also stoked to put the ENVE 31c road tires on them at some point.

They are super fast and same inner drive as pro line. Running 30mm Conti GP5000 on them and they are sublime. Can’t wait to run some thunder burts on them come Traka. Epic wheelset and great upgrade to my MOG.

Love the wheels. Very fast and can take technical gravel very good! I have them installed on my Enve Mog with Enve's HEX 52 mm gravel tires.

My first Enve Wheelset. I wasn't ready to go all in on the 4.5s so started here. Setup was a breeze, smooth as silk and faster than my Zipps

These are wonderful wheels: intuitive, fast (enough), and comfortable. They are much better than the Fulcrum Racing Zero DB wheels they replaced and competitive with my 3.4 AR on my all road bike. Despite some gusts where I live, they are predictable even on high speed blustery descents. They also make the ubiquitous crappy roads where I live much more comfortable. I suspect it would be difficult to find a better wheel at this price, performance, and style.
