INDEPENDENT TRACKING

De-coupled tread blocks enable the casing to flex and conform to the terrain, maximizing traction and rolling performance. A hexagonal block shape allows a three-way flex pattern to add suppleness to the casing so the tire conforms to varied surface conditions for consistent handling.

TRACTION WHERE YOU NEED IT

Balancing efficient rolling and traction is where the HEX stands out. A cat-tongue tread feature provides both driving and braking traction for confident handling. The tires sizes use a scaled tread to ensure the maximum level of traction possible by tire size.

SPEED AND EFFICIENCY

In addition to the Kevlar puncture barrier, the Kevlar bead is optimized for hookless rim design and the chaffer strip at the tire’s bead is extended to offer a greater level of pinch-flat protection.

Hex Carapace

Great tire, fast and great grip in the corners! These tires feel lively with the added bonus of Kevlar sidewall protection. We ride in the Sierras were there is plenty of chunk and they have held up well!

Fast, comfortable and adequate Grip!

These roll faster and smoother than I would expect from a tire that corners well, and vice-versa. They set up true to size on a 27mm internal rim and I'm enjoying them quite a bit. The 44 fit my allroad fork once I used a fingernail clipper to remove the plentiful rubber hairs, LOL. 40c in the rear fit with plenty of clearance.

Solid Gravel Tire

I have a couple hundred miles on these now and initial impressions are good. They run pretty true to stated size on the ENVE 4.5s, both the 44s and the 48s. They aren't a super fast tire but roll really well on pavement while still providing confidence to send it on gravel. If the long-term durability holds up, would definitely buy again and would probably try the regular Hex as well.
